Edward Carpenito Sr. is the
founder of Fresh Start. He began his career in produce more
than 40 years ago when a school guidance counselor got him
a job at Public's Supermarket. He worked at Public's for
more than five years before branching out on his own as
an independent wholesaler. Mr. Carpenito did business
from Dudley Street in Roxbury, then Wellington Circle in Medford.
In 1986, he moved to Everett and opened Fresh Start.
Mr. Carpenito brings 40 years of purchasing expertise to the Fresh Start
Produce Company. Mr. Carpenito's experience allows Fresh Start
to purchase the finest produce at the best prices.
