PRE-CUT BLENDS |

A problem food service providers, especially
restaurants face, is consumer boredom. Many consumers
are bored with the usual boiled carrot and steamed broccoli.
We tackled that problem at first by offering all of
our staples in precut packages. Vendors could buy precut
onion rings, cubed eggplant, julienne celery sticks, blossom
onions, and a host of other products.
Then we took it a step further by offering our own designer vegetable blends. The blends brought together different combinations of vegetables from around the world, some even in pre-spiced packages. Vendors found they could buy a 10 pound package of a vegetable blend, add meat and have a finished dish ready to serve 60 people. | |||||||
We continued to refine
the concept by working at vendor locations to develop personalized
blends for each company's clientele. Many times we
have responded to customer requests for custom blends by
experimenting at its own processing facility and returning
with a variety of new creations. Numerous chefs have visited
our kitchen to develop their own blends. The Chef's
Fresh Rosetta blend turned out to be a perfect addition to a new
product Hans Kissle was developing.
We offer all of our staples in 5 pound precut bags. Customers can purchase four bags of
any precut item and have an instant 20 pound blend kit. No one
in the produce industry can offer such an all encompassing variety
of specialty blends, and the list just keeps getting bigger.
